Unused AntsHQ Myrmeco I LED Ant Nest Starter Kit – UK Import
About this listing
Brand-new and unused AntsHQ Myrmeco I LED Ant Nest Starter Kit, purchased directly from AntsHQ in England. The nest has been opened, assembled and powered on for inspection and testing but has never housed ants or been hydrated. The LED system has been tested and confirmed fully operational, with all three illuminated nesting chambers shown working in the updated photos. By the time it arrived from the UK, the species I originally planned to house had already been moved into another setup, so the nest has remained unused. Features include: • Three LED-illuminated nesting chambers • Individual push-button control for each chamber • Integrated outworld • Red magnetic acrylic chamber cover • Refillable hydration system • USB power cable • Multiple expansion ports • Original box and instruction booklet • Approximately 160mm long × 80mm wide × 140mm high Each nesting chamber has its own push-button control located on the side of the unit, allowing the three LEDs to be switched on and off individually. This means the colony can remain in darkness during normal housing, with the lights only activated when you want to view or display specific chambers. With its spacious chambers and integrated outworld, this setup would be particularly well suited to an established colony of larger ants, such as trap-jaw ants, bull ants or similarly sized species. Buyers should confirm that the chamber dimensions and hydration requirements are suitable for their particular species and colony size. Everything required to use the setup is included. The portable power bank shown in the photos was only used to demonstrate the working LEDs and is not included. These nests are difficult and expensive to obtain in Australia once international postage from the UK is added. Asking $200 ONO. Reasonable offers considered. Located Gold Coast, QLD. Local pickup preferred, although postage is available at the buyer’s expense.
The seller will confirm current condition, handover arrangements and any species-specific care details before a trade is agreed.
