About this listing

Updated 29/07/26 Please text me on 0477705817 and let me know which queen/colony you're interested in and I'll send fresh photos. Thanks :) (No trades, just sales, sorry) (I currently have many queens with pupae so will plenty of queens available with workers over the next few months if interested in those) Pick up is from Lalor, 3075, Vic. For pick up only - 1. Pyriformis queen with 5 workers and 3 large larvae due to pupate soon - $145 For pick up or postage- 1. Forficata queen 5 eggs - $110 2. Simillima queen with 4 workers and some eggs - $135 3. (More ideal for local pick up vs postage) Simillima queen with 11 workers and approx 3 small larvae - $185 4. Pyriformis queen with 10 large larvae - $115 5. Pyriformis queen with 11 large larvae - $115 6. Nigriscapa queen with no brood - $75 7. Banded sugar ant queens without brood - $30 8. Banded sugar ant queens with some eggs - $35 9. Banded sugar ant queen + 1 worker and some brood - $45 10. Pale leg sugar ant queens without brood - $30 Express postage is $15. I can post to VIC, SA, ACT, NSW and QLD. Postage is done Monday mornings to ensure they arrive to you asap (usually next day/early Wednesday) Very important - 1. Just from my experience as a hobby keeper of 4yrs, not all queens are going to lay during the colder months/or even just the season (including proven queens with workers). If you don't want to wait for brood, please go for queens with brood already. 2. I'm an insect breeder/seller of 5.5yrs now with 500+ insects shipped across most of Australia without a single death. This also applies to my ant queens shipped over 3yrs. Ants don't always handle postage stress very well however. Whilst I do all I can on my end to ensure their safety, I'm not responsible for how packages are handled by Australia Post or how queens/brood react to the stress of postage (whether queens stress eat brood or die themselves) 3. I pay for extra insurance on large orders, but Aus post doesn't cover insect deaths, just lost/damaged parcels. Just keep that in mind. So far none have been lost/damaged either! 4. All my queens are quarantined for 2-3 weeks before being listed to ensure they're healthy. I also retain queens that I believe are acting oddly/not as energetic as I'd like. I never ship out ants I believe are unwell. I'd rather they potentially die in my care than to disappoint a buyer like that. 5. I provide a Google doc caresheet for anyone interested (sent via text message as Gumtree doesn't allow links) and I am happy to provide support after purchasing if needed (even months down the line. I don't mind!) Feel free to ask any questions you may have :)

The seller will confirm current condition, handover arrangements and any species-specific care details before a trade is agreed.
