Healthy acrobat ant colony consisting of one queen and approximately 6–8 workers. They’re an entertaining species known for raising their heart-shaped abdomen when alarmed. The colony comes in its current established test-tube setup to minimise disturbance during transport. Full transparency: small external grain/storage mites were recently noticed around the former incubator and feeding area. None have been observed attached to the queen or workers. The tube has been cleaned externally, isolated and monitored, with mite numbers continuing to decline. Located on the Gold Coast. Local pickup preferred, although safe postage may be considered depending on destination and weather. Asking $75 ono.
