Hey, I am now releasing the first version of my AAC/Hebel/Ytong nests! These nests have big chambers, so they suit big Camponotus and Myrmecia species.

(I will be releasing smaller chamber nests for smaller ant species soon!)

Small (10cmL×10cmWx4.5cmH)

$30 – 1x blunt syringe, no tubes

$37 – 1x blunt syringe, 1x tube

The small Ytong nest includes:

-1 hydration area with a sponge to retain moisture

– includes 1 entrance hole (19mm wide) to connect to any outworlds, which you can easily attach the 16mm tubing into them.

Medium (10cmL×15cmWx4.5cmH)

$45 – 1x blunt syringe, no tubes

$52 – 1x blunt syringe, 2x tubes

The medium Ytong nest includes:

-2 hydration areas with sponges to retain moisture

-includes 2 entrance holes (19mm wide) for further expansion of the nest or for outworlds, which you can easily attach the 16mm tubing into them.

Large (20cmL×20cmWx4.5cmH)

$70 – 1x blunt syringe, no tubes

$77 – 1x blunt syringe, 2x tubes

The large Ytong nest includes:

-2 hydration areas with sponges to retain moisture

-includes 2 entrance holes (19mm wide) for further expansion of the nest or for outworlds, which you can easily attach the 16mm tubing into them.

All the nests include a hole in the plexiglass above the sponge to squirt a few millilitres of water into it every few days to keep up the humidity and magnets to on top and underneath the plexiglass for an easy removal but tight fit.

Nests can come in safe, non-toxic red, blue, green, and yellow paint but can also be plain.

but if you’d like another colour, I can source it, but it is $10 extra.

Note: All nests are handmade, so they might have little variations, but they all have a secure fitting lid and felt pads underneath them so they can’t scratch the surface they are under.
