Beautiful black Colobopsis sp queen, has already pulled off its wings so most likely fertile, a very docile species much like camponotus this species also has big majors present which are much bigger and size. The Queen has not laid any eggs yet but soon will due to the bloated gaster. This species is arboreal meaning they make there nests In trees or wood and also forage on the trees. This queen is also claustral so does not require feeding during the founding stage or until it’a first workers arrive. Feeding should consist of either honey or some sugar source and occasionally protein. This species is a great beginner species so if you are new to ant keeping this species will be great for you.
