Substrate Mix – a perfect proportion of conditioned red ant-safe sand and conditioned ant-safe peat moss. Tested for a long time on my own queens/colonies and they love it so perfectly safe! They have the option to choose use either sand or peat moss to spin their cocoons depending on their preference. Contains no colours, chemicals or dyes so it is in no way harmful to your ants.
